Versatile Installation Options

Wall and Ceiling Mounting

StarEFX modular panels are designed with versatility in mind. They can be easily screw-mounted on both walls and ceilings, allowing you to create a stunning star ceiling feature on any surface. This flexibility makes them ideal for transforming various spaces such as living rooms, bedrooms, home theatres, lounges, and restaurants. Mounted on a wall, they become a striking visual focal point, while on the ceiling, they create a mesmerizing illusion of the night sky.

Suspended Ceiling Integration

In addition to traditional mounting options, StarEFX soundproof panels are compatible with suspended ceilings. This makes them an excellent solution for spaces where easy access to utilities above the ceiling is necessary, all while benefiting from acoustic dampening and starry lighting. These acoustic star ceiling panels seamlessly integrate into suspended ceiling grids, offering a clean, professional look without compromising on their visual or acoustic performance.

Installation

When installing StarEFX panels on plaster ceilings, make sure to use six plaster screws to fasten each panel in place securely. This will ensure your starlight panel is secured correctly. Power for the panels is provided by the power link cable, which connects each panel in a daisy chain configuration. Only the first panel needs power from the 12V power supply.

Included with each panel are 6 screws for installation, along with 6 cavity plugs to cover the screws and a power link cable for easy connectivity.

A single 12V power supply (sold separately as PS-12V-2A) can support up to 24 panels. You will need a 240v/10A General Power Outlet (GPO) for the power supply and a wall switch to control the on/off function of the starry lights. Additionally, an optional control module is available for remote control of the starlight colour and on/off functionality.
